I originate from the North West but moved to the South when I was eight. I have made London my home for over 30 years living just between Clapham North and Brixton. I love the area for it's diversity and energy. I believe in the importance of locality, and for this reason, I work for the Brixton branch of Lambeth and Southwark Mind, promoting awareness of its various services. Before I became a therapist, I trained in psychology and then used this to work in human understanding for industry. I then trained as a psychotherapist at T.A. East in London, which pays particular attention to the social environment we live in and its relation to mental health. I am qualified at level 6. I offer counselling and psychotherapy and abide by the National Council of Psychotherapy (NCPS) and United Kingdom of Psychotherapy (UKCP) ethical codes.
